Cooper creates pop art portraiture on canvas flush with unusual combinations of color and technique. Her work integrates classical textile design and color techniques into custom layers of color, pattern and brilliance that transform familiar faces into living personalities of their own exuding character not previously there. She also creates stunning versions of the female body that produce beautiful representations of the shape. Her work is currently displayed in DC locations and overseas in Madrid and Monaco.

Kim created a significant career from her classically trained ability to design in repeat for textiles. Over the years she has produced signature textile designs for a variety of outlets in the Hospitality Industry, notably luxury hotels in the US, the Bahamas and the Arab Emirates. She has also exhibited in forums both domestic and international, including locales like New York City, Belgium and Germany. Kim’s colors have also been seen in consumer products from her work as a Product Developer for a high end bedding design firm. Additionally, she has produced her own line of hand painted fabric designs displayed in showrooms in Australia and the Eastern US. Her work is notable for its meticulous repeats along with clever and unusual color combinations.
